Chalet
We will be having a chalet around 14-20 Nov. Like the previous chalet, everyone has to pay no matter whether they are going or not. Each person needs to bring $10. Thus I will deduct this from the money I'm returning you. If there's extra, I will return you. But please remember to bring an extra $10 if you already owe me money.

Batch Dinner
Batch dinner would be held on friday 17/9. As you all know, the cost is $75 and it is optional. Those who wants to go are required to bring $75

All money for the 3 things(photocopy money, chalet and batch dinner) will be settled on the same day (9/10). Pls ensure you have them separately when you hand up the money. I.e. do not lump the sum of the money you need to hand up together. Also, pls ensure you hand in the exact amount of money or bring sufficient change.

Hi everyone,

This is your beloved treasurer speaking. Its time to settle money issues again.

This shall probably be the last time we are going to deal with money issues for 4C. After this, i'm over and done with!

I doubt i will have the chance to speak to all of you because i guess we will just go crazy after 10am tomorrow, hence pls read this carefully:

1. Zhen Zhen says our class deposited too much money, so i'm keeping a small portion of the money with Chiu Lao Shi for the O level preparation lessons. Then imma return the extra money back. Just to give you an idea we have more than +$400 at the moment, and i'm keeping around $25

2. Total amount of money returning back = extra money from Zhen Zhen + some spare cash i keep at home [used for times of need (not personal need)]

3. There is no document to show the breakdown of expenditure for the 2 years. The most i got is the monthly photocopy breakdown, which the Feb'08 copy disappeared because i put in on the notice board

4. But, there are a few bit**es who like to complicate things up. If i were to collect money from everyone who haven't paid i will probably get an extra $600. So here is the catch:
4.1 those who have been consistently paying will be getting money
4.2 those who did not pay for both August and Sept may have pay a little
4.3 someone who somehow did not pay for 3 terms will have to pay some money

5. Because things are a little bit complicated now. I need some time to do the calculations before i can give you actual figures by this weekend. The above scenario is the worst-case scenario.

6. Date of collection of dividends: Right after first day of chinese lesson.

Benjamin Ng vaults to new age-group mark

Meanwhile, it looks like young Benjamin Ng of Hwa Chong Institution may have pole-vaulted his way to a new national age-group record at the Singapore Open.

Ng, who finished second at the National Schools Championships B Division final with his 4.00m effort, bettered that by 0.30m as he lifted himself to third place at the Singapore Open with his massive 4.30m effort.

Pending ratification, that height is a new national U-17 mark as it is better than the 4.16m set by Sean Lim, also from Hwa Chong, during the Singapore Juniors.

In fact, Benjamin was tied with Emerson Obiena of the Philippines but must have lost the silver on counback. Obiena’s compatriot, Jerome Margallo, took the gold with his 4.50m effort, which was way below the Singapore Open and Asian record of 5.40m set by Japan’s Toshiyuki Hashioka in 1992.

The Singapore Sports Fan extends his heartiest congratulations to Benjamin and hopes to see him continuing to set new standards for Singapore athletics in the years to come.

Ok class chalet was pretty interesting! How many people stayed over again??

We spent quite a long time walking around...LOL. Let's see. A small group of us (YeeHong, GuangYi, Kevin, ChinLiang, David and me) waited in White Sands, then moved to the MRT, then moved to the Bus Interchange. Then a whole bunch of clsmates joined us (we had already missed a bus to Downtown East). Ivan, ShengJie, SoongHei, ZheWei joined us. yep.

Then we walked quite a long way to the Costa Sands Pasir Ris resort. And the bitchy receptionist didn't want to check us in unless we could get someone above 18. -.- Why would we go in such a big group down there if we didn't even book a chalet?! Plus 16 is kinda old enough.

Oh random insertion: I wanted to take pictures, but I forgot to charge the camera battery. Epic fail.

Then we went back to E!hub, decided to go bowling but the waiting list was bitchily long. Then we decided to catch Get Smart - it was freaking funny! Can never get over that movie. We made our nebo tapz cards as well, played a bit of arcade games. Mario Kart, Bishi Bashi! Wanted to play Manic Panic Ghosts but some whores were totally hogging the machine.

Well at this point Cyril, Jaron, Melvin, Cheng Teng & Jian Ler had shown up, so after the movie we went for dinner. The rich bitches went to New York New York and where did the rest go??

And after dinner it was bowling. Finally, but we couldn't use our free bowling game vouchers cos it was already after 6pm :(

So too bad for those whores who couldn't come! At least the attendance was better than the other time right! D:

costa sands resort (pasir ris) - 2 rooms (single-storey)
total cost: $276
it will be deducted from class fund.
so if u dun come, it is ur loss.
after all, everyone is paying for it.

with regards that a minority of u may have EP3 on friday,
u all can set off tgt early in the morning from the chalet out.
as for the rest, we will be going out for class outing on friday after we book out.

nxt, with regards to the BBQ,
i let u all decide.
just voice ur opinion and see if anyone wants BBQ.

guys, its confirmed.

ok... so here's the plan.
meet at AMK mrt at about 11.30 am
so we will have lunch at AMK hub. got that?

after that, we will go my house, u guys can leave ur stuff there and play xbox or go to the function room for table tennis/card games till 4.

at 2 u guys can go to the street basketball/soccer court and play for 1 hour. *IF NO ONE COMES U GUYS CAN PLAY ON*

at 3 some other can go to the tennis court to play for 1 hour as well... *most prob cannot drag on cuz tennis sometimes got ppl play de*

at 4. everyone is to meet at the function room... we pack up... and zao to some other place called "patio" o_O its essentially some nice shady area with tables and chairs... then we order pizza or wadeva u guys want for dinner and zhe wei can have fun at the kiddies playground. =D

**LATEST** BY 10, we have to pack up and ya... go home. =/
i dun think we'll party till 10 right? =X

Things to take note: wherever u are, DO NOT:

ok guys... from jian ler's constant nagging which i cannot tahan for nuts...

hey peeps.
just some updates.

Sentosa outing 26/5 is still on.
Details will be released at a later date.
Let's all compromise each other over here.
As usual, we cant suit everyones taste here and there.
As for location, it is at the middle of Singapore, (though at the south and inconvenient for north ppls)
hence there shouldn't be any arguments for everyone about this.

Event-wise, we will play balls (any) in the morning, or any other outdoor activities at sentosa in the morning,
whereas, in the afternoon we will make a trip over to vivocity which is a stone's throw away for your information where we can catch a movie or lunch or whatever.
this is all about it,
u will get your air-con in the afternoon, u wun get burnt from head to toe.

class chalet..
gather opinions here.
if you all want, have to act fast.
and of course somebody has to volunteer your ntuc membership card if u have one.
let's all do a part in this.

lastly, rmb to do your CME holistic report card haha.
